TJ Scott, a native of Houston, Texas, is an associate with Smith Cashion & Orr, PLC.
Mr. Scott received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science, Cum Laude, from Texas Christian University in 2017 where he was a member of the TCU Moot Court team, the TCU Judicial Board, and an employee of Fort Worth Young Life.
In 2020, Mr. Scott obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the Pepperdine Caruso School of Law. Mr. Scott was a Dean’s Scholar and also earned a certificate from Pepperdine’s Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law. In the fall of his 2L year, Mr. Scott studied abroad in London at Pepperdine Law’s London location during which time he externed for the Henderson Chambers and 4 New Square assisting in sports arbitration and business litigation matters. In his third year of law school, Mr. Scott partnered with local Malibu churches to assist in providing meals for the homeless community in the greater Malibu / Santa Monica area.
Mr. Scott clerked for Smith Cashion & Orr, PLC each summer during law school. Following law school, Mr. Scott joined Smith Cashion & Orr, PLC as an associate.
Mr. Scott was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 2021. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, Nashville Bar Association, and Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).Click here for a printer-friendly version of this page. >>
