Allison T. Padgett Associate

Allison Padgett, a native of Crossville, Tennessee, joined Smith Cashion & Orr, PLC as an Associate in 2026. Ms. Padgett’s practice focuses primarily on representing contractors, subcontractors, and owners in constructions disputes. This representation also includes commercial litigation, homeowner disputes, and contract negotiation.

Allison earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance and focus in International Business from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She also spent a semester abroad studying International Business at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy.

In 2025, Allison earned her J.D. from Belmont University College of Law. During Law School, Allison worked as a law clerk for the Middle District of Tennessee Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee. Allison was also a participant of Belmont Law’s Invitational Dean’s Cup Tournament for Oral Advocacy and involved in the Women’s Legal Society.

Allison is a current member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the American Agriculture Law Association.
